After considering all of the available information concerning the COVID-19 pandemic, the CEB Board of Trustees has made the very difficult, but necessary, decision to cancel our 74th Annual Conference scheduled for April 19-22 in Orlando, FL. Obviously, we would have enjoyed nothing more than to host many of you at Walt Disney World for another terrific CEB conference, but out of an abundance of caution, and in recognition of our member's health, wellbeing and peace of mind, moving forward no longer seemed to be an option. We will now shift our planning to determine which aspects of the conference can be translated into virtual opportunities within our Peer-to-Peer webinar series. We are excited about being able to share some of the workshops with 895 individuals in our CEB membership.
We would like to thank John Puccio, 2020 Conference Chair, and the entire Conference Planning Committee for their tireless work over the last six months to prepare the exciting program planned for Orlando. We also want to thank the individuals who had volunteered to present at workshops and for the work they have put into those presentations. By way of webinars or at next year's event, we hope that they will still be able to share their stories with the group.
We look forward to welcoming many of you to our conference next April as the Council on Employee Benefits will celebrate our 75th Anniversary Year.
